Lead Gen Efforts

The Lead Gen effort creation process mimics the paid effort creation process for most of the basic actions. Efforts are created to represent individual marketing arrangements or pushes that require a unique promo code and URL.

Select Effortfrom the Main Input Menu.

Select the destination of your effort (internal, external or Agora) and then select the Date the effort will run. Choose Lead Gen from the Item Type drop-down menu.

Fill in the appropriate information about the effort.

You will notice a few new effort options at the bottom of the effort creation screen:

Confirmation URL: Allows for a manual redirect to a landing page of your choosing. By checking the Confirmation URL box, you can manually enter the URL of the landing page you wish customers to see after they have subscribed to the free list.

CoReg:Enables the co-reg option if one exists on the content pieces selected. See Co-Reg for more details.

Double Opt-In: Enables the Double Opt-In option if the content exists in the effort process. This will help verify the new customer as a real human instead of a spam bot or fake email address. See Double Opt-In for more details.

After you have created your effort, you will need to send the promo code request to the Advantage Specialist on your team. To do so, navigate to the My Queue page located in the Main Input Menu.

Select the Lead Gen tab in the upper left-hand corner to view all Lead Gen efforts you have created that are awaiting promo code attachments.

When ready, check the box next to the efforts you wish to send and then select Send Selected. Or if you wish to send all efforts listed in your ‘My Queue’ screen, select Send All.Once completed, the date of the effort(s) will bold indicating the efforts have been sent successfully.

Lead Gen efforts are housed on the Lead Gen schedule. Choose Lead Gen from the schedule drop-down and then select which item’s schedule you wish to view.

To make any final edits or changes to your effort, select EDIT from the effort schedule screen.

To view the details of your effort (and more effort options) select DETAILS from the effort schedule screen.

Within the effort details page, you can view the promotional components, view the HTML and email the effort to affiliates/partners.

The unique link for the effort is found at the bottom of the details page in the “link” field, with the unique signup form code listed just below it.

Co-Reg

“Co-Reg” (Co-Registration) allows a customer to sign up for more than one free list as part of the Lead Gen process. The Co-Reg workflow works much like the upsell/cross-sell workflow in that, you will create the campaign, offer and content for the main item or list you are promoting and then attach the additional lists you wish to offer the new subscriber on the offer level.

Entering a new Co-Reg promotion requires the following steps:

Create a main item campaign Create a main item offer w/co-reg attachmentsCreate main item sign up page Create free reports (if applicable) Create main item confirmation pageCreate co-reg confirmation page Create main item confirmation email Create co-reg confirmation email Create Lead Gen efforts.

To enter a new Co-Reg campaign, you will first enter a new campaign for the main list being promoted. It is helpful to include the additional list offerings in the name of your new campaign.

In our example, we will be creating a new Lead Gen campaign promoting the list SKJ. Using our naming convention to better relay information we will also be adding an option to also sign up for TMT in the copy.

After entering your new Lead Gen campaign you will be taken to a new Lead Gen offer screen with certain fields pre-selected for you to aide in workflow.

From this screen, you will enter the basic information regarding the Lead Gen offer and select YES to add Co-Reg items when prompted. When finished, select Create Offer.

From this page, you may input as many additional lists as you wish. Also, you can indicate if you will need to enter a new report for this offer and Co-Reg lists. These selections help formulate the IRIS content entry process to make entering the Co-Reg information more streamlined.

After selecting Create Offer, you will automatically be taken to the main list sign up page content screen with the first four fields pre-defined for you to help in guiding you through the steps required.

Fill in the appropriate fields required to build your sign up page. Remember to input the Sign Up Form placeholder and to select if you will need to enter a new report for your main list by selecting Yes or No in the “Free Report” field – your selection in this field will determine the next page displayed in the process. When finished, select Create Content.

You will then be automatically taken to the main item’s Confirmation Page content screen. From here you will enter your content and then insert the co-reg list sign up option by selecting the C WYSIWYG. This will pull in the lists you selected as co-reg options on the offer and display them with checkboxes.

Remember: this is the page a customer will see after they have already chosen to sign up for your main list (in our example: SKJ). This page will then confirm their subscription to your main list and offer them the chance to sign up for additional lists you wish to promote.

When you have finished entering your content, select Create Content.

After creating your main item confirmation page, you will automatically be taken to the Co-Reg confirmation page template.

The Co-Reg Confirmation Page content screen allows you to create the page that subscribers will see after they have selected to join any of your co-reg list options from the main item confirmation page.

When entering the content of this new page, click the C WYSIWYG again to insert a list-display placeholder field. This field will display the name of the list (as entered on the main item confirmation page screen) selected by the subscriber.

When you have finished creating your Co-Reg confirmation page content, select Create Content to save and continue.

Next-up in the process is the main item confirmation email – which will again display for you automatically in-sequence with the first four fields pre-selected.

Enter the confirmation email content for the main item and when finished select Create Contentto save and continue:

return false">ссылка скрыта

After saving your main item confirmation email, you will input a Co-Reg confirmation email. Again, we will use the C WYSIWYG to insert a list-display placeholder for the selected Co-Reg lists.

You also have the ability, anywhere in the Lead Gen content process, to insert your Free Reports. Use the Link Builder WYSIWYG tool and select the Content tab.

You will then be returned to the Link Builder WYSIWYG pop up layer. Select OKto confirm your report placeholder.

You have now completed the Co-Reg content entry process and will be taken to the Lead Gen content details page.

You are now ready to create Lead Gen Co-Reg efforts. Subscribers access the Lead Gen effort and elect to sign up for the main item, they will see the confirmation page information with the ability to choose one or both lists to join. In this example, their options are Daily Crux and DailyWealth

The co-reg confirmation page/email will display the name of whichever list(s) the subscriber has selected on the previous screen.
