Modern Lviv is not only the treasury of national ideas and cultural it is also a financial, education and cultural center of western Ukraine. Also you can visit the Opera House. Starting at the Opera Theatre, move south along the west side of the street, at the corner of Svobody avenue along the west side of the street you will find the museum of Ethnography and Applied Arts. Here’s your first shop for gift items to bring back home.

The museum itself has a rich collection of artefacts. Still on the west side of the street keep going south and you will find yourself at Mickiewicz square where you will see a monument to the writer Adam Mickiewicz. I am a hotel administrator. A group of tourists booked rooms at our hotel, but they arrived 1 day earlier than they were expected. The room will be vacant only 24 hours later.

 

I have 2 suggestions how to fix this problem. First, we may suggest them to be accommodated in the rooms which are free at that time. We have two free double rooms with bath. Walls and windows in the rooms have excellent sound proofing. These rooms also have air-conditioning, TV, telephone. Also there is a free suite with sitting room, bedroom, private bath and balcony. The suite also has TV, telephone, mini-bar, air-conditioning. If these rooms will not satisfy them we can find appropriate rooms at another hotel. The tourists can make their choice which suits them the best. But they will have to pay for transportation to the hotel themselves.

There is some information you should know about passport application when you travel with children:

All children who are not already included on their parent’s valid ten – year passport will have to hold their own passport if they are to travel abroad. Children over 16 are required to hold their own passports.

Children already included on an existing passport may continue to travel with the passport holder until the child reaches 16, the passport expires or is submitted for amendment. Children cannot be readded to passport submitted for amendment.

Many tourists come to visit our city from different place around the world and, of course, they choose the STAR hotel.

The STAR Hotel is located near the centre of the city, so it’s very convenient to live in it.

We offer tourists different types of rooms: double, triple and rooms for 4.

As a hotel administrator, I’ll give information in the following order.

First of all, I’ll ask about the period of the children's stay and then I'll check the dates on our hotel computer to see if any rooms are available during this period. Children Festivals are usually held within 3-4 day period in our city. Some children may come to take part in the festival and some may be only spectators. Children have to be accommodated conveniently and comfortably. The children group staying in our hotel consists of 40 children. To accommodate the children effectively it would be better to reserve 4 rooms for 4, 4 triple rooms and 6 double rooms.

The staff of the hotel is very friendly. Children will stay in safety and comfort in our hotel. Of course, children can use entertainment rooms to play different games or to listen to music. Besides, there is big and nice swimming pool, where children can spend their free time or relax.

I think the children will be satisfied with the festival and the level of service in our hotel.

We also offer free breakfasts for the groups of 30 and more.

There is no big difference between four and five star hotels. But some of the peculiarities I would like to emphasize.

A 4 star hotel offers high quality of service. In a 4-star hotel all rooms are with bathrooms. Different kinds of services and facilities are offered in this class hotels e.g. hair and beauty salon, fitness center, valet service, valet parking, business facilities.

Besides all other conveniences, 5-star hotels have room for playing different games and place for kids. Guest rooms offer cold and hot beverages are provided 24 hours. Swimming pool is only available in a five-star hotel. Chambermaid should change towels and linens every day. Also you can use services of secretary, stenographer, translator and messengers. Usually 5-star hotels have a landing lot for a helicopter and president rooms.
