Text G “Accounting faculty (Economy)”

I study at the Tyumen State Agricultural Academy. It was founded in 1959 as an Agricultural Institute. It got the title of the Academy on 3rd April, 1995.

Our Academy has four Institutes: Agro-Technology, Mechanical- Technology, Institute of Economy and Finance and the Institute of Biotechnology and Veterinary Medicine.

I am a second-year student of the Accounting faculty (Economy) of the Economy and Finance Institute. The Institute of Economy and Finance was founded in 2001. I am a full-time student. Our Institute trains accountants and economist-managers for different branches of agriculture. The Institute of Economy and Finance has a highly qualified teaching staff. The Accounting faculty (Economy) was established in 1969.

There are nine chairs at our Institute: the chair of economy, the chair of organization of agricultural production, the chair of management, the chair of accounting and others. The accountant’s work requires deep knowledge in all branches of agriculture.

We study many subjects, which are interesting and necessary for our future speciality. They are Mathematics, English, statistics, economy, marketing, management, accounting, plant growing, finance and credit and many others. All these subjects help us to become qualified specialists.

We can learn skills, which fit us for a better career in future. An educated person contributes more to the society and education gives a person the prospect for professional advance.

An accountant is a state controller. He must know about the distribution of money resources on the farm. The main tasks of an accountant are to calculate wages, to make up quarterly and annual statements and carry out farm activities.

While studying the students of our faculty have practical work at the experimental training farm and at different enterprises of our region. The students of our faculty can work at business firms, enterprises and banks.

The work of any accountant is difficult but at the same time is important and useful. I think I like my future speciality and find it to be actual and necessary.
